Christian Fellowship

We have a time for snacks and fellowship after the 11:00 a.m. service in Reynolds Parlor. We also have occasional potluck suppers and other fellowship times.

Reaching Out to People in Need

Every month, we help deliver meals to elderly and ill residents of Arlington.

Arlington Food Assistance Center:

We collect food and raise money to assist needy persons in Arlington.

Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts:

Our Boy Scout troop meets on Mondays at 6:30 p.m., and our Cub Scout pack meets on the third Friday of each month.

Home Visitation:

We care for our ill and homebound members by regular visitation.

Habitat for Humanity:

We support local projects by volunteering work and funds.

United Methodist Committe on Relief:

We support UMCOR in providing disaster relief throughout the world.

Crop Walk:

Walkers from Arlington Forest Church raise funds to feed the hungry, and our church is the starting point for the walk each Fall.

Worshiping and Witnessing to the Living God

Worship:

We have an informal worship service at 8:30 a.m. on Sundays in Miller Chapel. This service features lots of singing and a message in an informal atmosphere. We have a traditional worship service at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays in the sanctuary featuring choral music and a message. Once a month we have a hymn sing at the 11:00 a.m. service. We have special music services during Christmas and Easter seasons. We also have special worship services on Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, and Good Friday.

Music:

We have opportunities for you to sing your faith under the able direction of Louise Lee.  Please join us for Choir practice at 9:45 a.m. on the first three Sundays of the month, then at 7:30 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month.
